Department for Mathematics include Mathematics, Geometry, Computers and Physics.

Department, as a whole, or through its members, took part in electronic commisions and other formations in the establishing proces for other institutions of higher learning, Military Technical Academy Zagreb, and Faculty of Civil Engineering Universities of Split, Rijeka and Osijek.

Department members provide education for undergraduate and postgraduate students. They are also mentors for M.S. and Ph.D. deegree at Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty  of Science Zagreb. Department members had published many scientific and project papers, books, and textbooks.
